Throwback Thursday!

Many bloggers do 'Throwback Thursday's' and I love the idea of it, sharing with the world an old memory or photo. Things that make you who you are today.

So this is my first ever Throwback Thursday and I thought I would show you an oldie.

This is me trying on my Secondary School Uniform for the first time. I made the best friends anyone can make at secondary school and can defiantly say that some of my favourite memories have happened whilst being at school, no regrets!

Abbi's Top Tips - The Great Gatsby Eye

Seeing as The Great Gatsby cam out last month, Danni and I thought it would be a good idea to do a 20's inspired eye make-up tutorial. It's a great look that will last the ages. This is how we achieved it.

1. Apply concealer to the eyelid to help the eye shadow stay on the lid.

2. Decide whether you are going to go for a black or blue theme for the eyes. Using the darkest tone of eyeshadow and put it as close to the eyelashes.

3. Shade in a lighter colour that matches the tone of the dark colour. Shade this all the way up to the brow.

4. Using an eyeliner pencil or pen, draw around the eye on both the bottom and top, this is to help enhance the eye.

5. Splash on layers of mascara or false lashes to help finish the look.

That's all it takes, 5 easy steps to get a great 20's themed eye make-up. Please let me know if there is anything you would like to be shown how to do.

Happy Fathers Day

As most of you probably know yesterday was no ordinary Sunday it was in fact Father’s Day. I thought this would then be a great time to declare to the world that I HAVE THE BEST DAD IN THE WORLD!!

Growing up I looked up to my dad (literally…so funny) as all little girls do. I hung on every word my dad said and believed every word that ever came out of his mouth, unfortunately for me my dad told me quite a few porkies growing up. What this meant for me was that I would go into school the next day and tell everyone in my class what my dad had told me and they would all laugh. The biggest lie my dad ever told me was that his grey hair was strawberry blonde, the arguments I used to get in with people about the colour of my dad’s hair was ridiculous. Despite figuring out at 13 that my dad lied to me constantly I still believe everything he tells me.

Everyone says constantly that I look like my mum and I do we are twins but my personality is entirely my dad. Sometimes we can clash heads but only because we are a both too stubborn to back down and admit defeat, but then the two of us against the world would be undefeatable.

I am so lucky to have a dad that supports me through all my choices in life. Every step along the way my dad has been there to help in any way possible and it makes me happy that I can give him a call anytime of the day to ask a “stupid” question (Dad I burnt my fingers… Dad what does this kind of bulb mean… Dad I’m lost)

So Pup I just want to publically say thank you for everything you have ever done for me and that I am so happy that you are my Dad and I only have to share you with 2 other people. You are my dad, my friend and my role model. Thank you!

I love you twice xx
